OK. Have to post this. The new movie is coming out and I'm pissed. I'm completely anti-rice (and anti-stupidity, anti-neon, etc...). Any ways, once again I'm going to have to watch my ass everywhere I drive. Now the cops are going to be nailing every car that resembles a 2fast2furious racer. Luckily mine is a semi-sleeper, yet it's still lowered. The local news channel is even doing a story now on how everyone will pick up on the street racing scene. This is bullshit. IMO the movie is crap, and all this negative feedback is too. I'm probably gonna' have to rent a car for a month to keep in the clear. Oh well.

Cops were gay before the fast and the furious and the cops are going to be gay after the fast and the furious. Don't do stupid ---- and you won't have anything to worry about. I am going to see the movie too.

I read in sport compact car. All the cars in the movie are said to be 10 second cars.. lol.. SCC tested all the import cars and the yenko camaro. The camaro and the pink s2000 were the only cars that broke into the 13sec mark.

must feel nice that jeff and some of the ppl on here can beat a F&F car.

Not all cops are gay just the ---- fucks who stereotype us. I have some friends that are cops and they helped me out when i got a ticket ,its good to know at least one cool or good cop it will help alot in the future ;). Unfortunately i still get harrassed by the others >:(fuckers

they have an evo in the movie, and that runs a 13.3 stock, and with little mods it will break 13 easily, i would know because my friend has one and hes gonna be breaking 13s soon as we get to the track

The one in the movie is a Evo7, and it was tested at something like 14.1 @ 92mph? I just read this mag on the shitter last week..

Holly was the lucky one and got to see the movie yesterday, or maybe unlucky? lol,

Should be a DVD rental that way you get to see the quality of all the shiny stickers, and neon lights. DVD=digital video

ok, the only thing I got in this hick town is a blockbuster and vhs and dvd are the same, about $5 each. If you think about it for another dollar i could go to the movies and enjoy the ricer exhausts in full digital form ;D

Well, yeah, in theory they should all be reasonably peppy cars. Then, you add 100 pounds in neon lights, 10 pounds in wiring and relays for those lights, 450 pounds in stereo and video systems, the weight and rotational inertia of 18 inch rims, minimum 300 pounds of APC parts and 2 or 3 fake NOS bottles, as well as five square yards of vinyl, extra fog lights, tons and tons of overkill suspension chrome, all that wire mesh stuff, 7 guages per car, and no real performance oriented modifications, and you have yourself a Skyline that really is furious for being so badly pussified. Anyone see Walker on Leno? What a dork and an ass-grabber. I always thought he was just a bad actor but I guess that's how he talks all the time. What a ------' tool. I bet he doesn't even know where the muffler bearings go...

haha, for a free movie it wasnt bad......there was more of a story plot this time. Still, geezus.....Riced out Skyline, (still looked aight) trashy, unrealistic style, trashy dressing, riced out Domestics, lol.

----, get over it. There aren't ANY fast cars in this gay movie. I was an extra in the first one and the "four wide 50 mile drag race" was about 1 mile long, and the cars never drove over 35 mph. Never when I was there did I see any of those stupid cars do even the speed limit.

Yeah, before anyone knew about the movie, we got word through some of the local car shows (So. Cal.) that they were gonna film an "import movie" called "Redline" and they needed extra's. We got paid like $80 a night + free food. It was like 7pm to 7am at night. It was cool, just hang out and then every 20-30 mins you pretend your cheering as the cars "zoom" by you at about 35mph. :o They had like 5 of every car in the movie, none of them had work. They were all cosmetic. The best part was when I met Ja Rule and I didn't even know who he was. My friends like, "that's Ja Rule, that rapper guy" I asked him which songs he sang and then I told him I've never heard of him, ( I was acting like a drunk, cause I was) It was fun before I knew what it was about. ( I can't believe I'm even sharing) I got in 2 shots (both headless). It sucks cause I tell the story, then people are like, "lets go throw it on and you can show me where you are", then I show them, and they're like, "So that's your ass, huh." It's always like a 45 min. buzzkill story. Anyway, I'm gonna go kill myself now.

LOL, I remember seeing those Redline signs when they were filming here in San Pedro. No wonder the hills looked familiar at the end when Brian was chasing the motorcycles, they cut the scenes in from Hollywood and San Pedro.
For all you SoCal locals, the last race with the Supra and the Charger was filmed on Terminal Island right across the Vincent Thomas bridge. I feel so special now.

Hey Jeff man from what i hear the test on the cars in the mgazine was a setup. The single turbo supra ran a hihg 14 which is impossible considering one off the showroom floor runs 13.5. From what i hear the evo did not even have a turbo or something and the boost was turned all the way down on the supra for the tests. that is real GAY if you ask me and it should be a crime to rice out a skyline >:(..with its nice clean lines a classy look.
