hey is anyone on here into 240's? im getting an 89 tommarrow and it needs a rebuild, i was thinking about rebuilding it for turbo, but everyone i talk to says they spend around $4g's for a turbo setup, i've done three hondas all for about 500$ each, can i do a hmt style on the 240 or whats the deal?

240's can be turboed under 2 grand and have a helluva lot more tourque than any most hondas can produce not to mention hp figures that are up to par 4 grand to turbo a 240 is for premade kits

Do a homemade setup for sure!!!!! I'm sure you can find a whole shitload of parts for that car for cheap! 240's handle and slide sooooo extremely well its rediculous.

240's are awesome cars ,my brother has one and i was trying to get him to turbo it but he has a ka engine or something like that and will blow up ,go figure. You should do a HMT setup 240's are very good cars.( whispering sr20det )

what is HICAS? any way im getting an 89 its a good price and the body is in mint condition, but it has 16" chrome rims

HICAS is a rearwheel steering system that alot of old japanese sports car have. while it may be fun having it turn 2 degrees over while blasting through turns, it's dangerous for any drag racers.

hicas came on fastback 89+ 240sx SE only. coupe model doesn't have it. 89-90 are weak (sohc), drop a 91+ engine in (dohc)
