The overheating issue always happens with that motor in the ed/ef chassis. It's partly because the top radiator hose sits a bit lower than the water neck off the a1's. Try dumping a little water-wetter in there too, it might help some. How'd you make out with the mount? End up making one after all?

haha there is actually a radiator hose clamp holding it in place....it rests on the the car so we just clamped it down....yea i know i know its not a good idea but ---- it works for now i think im gonna make an adaptor plate this weekend...so it should be alllll good ....i have a ---- load of vaccum leaks and the motor is knocking....and overheating...i think that pouring it in the high part might work out fine...good call ....

oh yea and i have to move the alternator becuase when my car is lowered the axel rubs on it....and now it doesnt rub unless i got pretty fast around right turns.....
