1.actually the first trans was grinding in second around a month after buying it from the dealer .....had to take it out of state because no one in a maryland mazda dealership could fix it
2.got the car back not fixed
3. bitched at mazda more
4. trans was "rebuilt"
5. trans got even worse after they "rebuilt" it
6. eventually got a brand new trans not his
mazda "rebuilt ones" after a while of not having a properly working car that he was still paying for
yes i only speak of two transmissions there was a third one that was thrown in there amongst the bitching and bullshit
after the trans issues he later honda-teched a kit together aka bought a kit and had a shop put it on.....tuned on low boost by the shop ran great, retuned for more boost and blew the bitch up on the dyno
i will never by a new mazda period....you can say he was a shitty driver and this and that....end of story he bought an 08 STI no problems

see to me fast depends on what you drive, you drive a "muscle car" so you have to be faster. i drive a car that probably wouldn't hit 20's in the quarter when it was made. oh and i drive mine everyday, to and from work.
it's fast for a econobox frontwheel drive honda

Looks a ton better, but they need to work on getting a better powerplant behind that thing. I dont doubt the new Renesis, but i still think it lacks severly without the help of FI. If they did build a turbo version, it would be a best seller IMO. I know i'd look at one in a year or two...
