The only ppl who would think that are dumb ass farmboys. Which is who buys the lightning, and srt10 dodge, and hemi's. Think, drag co-efficient....and watch the cars pass buy you in your overglorified truck.

I'd rather have a skyline anyday over a truck that can do 150mp/h. Trucks are made to work...

so you're just like the people who say drag racing or road racing a civic/crx/intega/rsx & all sport compacts is GAY because they weren't meant for it and are slow stock.

the ram srt10 WAS meant to race, and road race. that truck will hand all non built turbo/nitrous/sc crxs/civics/integras their ass on a ram head platter. except of course hybrid cars.

that truck'll beat a lot of cars around a road course too. its just somethin else. you guys all hate dodge for stuipd ass reasons, the srt4 and ram srt10 has a 7 year warrenty. i think you're cover'd on two vehicals that make a lot of power. yes a stock honda will lst 20 years and 300k miles. but they dont make any kind of power. no turbocharged honda will last 7 years unless its baby'd to ----. pretty much never driven.

get a grip and stop hating for no reason.

The day I say my Honda is better than a Corvette, NSX, viper, S7 etc etc etc, you have permission to shoot me. I have a turbo LS VTEC del sol, I'm sure you can agree I don't talk ---- about racing here. But racing a truck just isn't right. A car is a car, recreation, fun etc. A truck is working equipment. So what if it was built, mopar also built a truck that beat the new Enzo in every catagory, but hey it's still not meant to race. That giant open area behind you is to haul ----. Not trying to start an argument but trucks move stuff not race....

Sport compacts are just the new version of a jalopy, you know back 70 years ago when ppl started dumping V8's in their Ford's. By bashing us(the sport compact market) essentially you are bashing the concept of building a road/race car, something every gearhead does. Regardless what the stock trim is, (a camaro V6 is ------- slow) all are cars that have potential to be something better even a kia. BUT, they are all cars ;D

you're still doin the same thing ppl do that rip on hondas and sport impacts. a truck is a different type of vehical to race. plain and simple.

nascar trucks? guess thats not real racing

well, I'm not a fan of NASCAR to begin with, but no I think nascar craftsman truckman series or whatever the ---- it is shouldn't be around. I watch the V8 series in australia Holden(GM) and Ford, rally racing and the pro stock UK racing. (the one with RSX's and 3 series bimmers if you didn't know)

If NASCAR had stock drivetrains and stock powerplants and more non-oval tracks I would watch it. The fanbase seems to be more interested in crashes than quality racing. ::) But heh, sometimes simple things, well you know the rest.

BTW if you like NASCAR Toyota might bring the Tundra to the truckman series, saw the prototype on speedvision. Looked close to a real racing vehicle.

Different type of vehicle is one things, but cars and trucks is different. I guess we can agree to disagree. :-\

not really. you're hating on people racing trucks, just like people hate on guys racing sport compacts.
