I love the new si, I would consider buying one, but a new car is too much money for me right now, I love the look and power specs, but the new accord v6 6spd would be sick too, leather interior 6speed, ahh it would be great.

I'm sure you all remember what it was like when the 99 SI came out. It was like the Irish guys coming down to the Guiness christmas tree in that commercial. Well, this model is going to be the same way. You won't be able to find them anywhere and they'll be overpriced because of the demand. The S2000 was the same way when they first came out.

The other important thing we have to notice here is that it will be a while before anyone can mod the ****** because no one makes parts for it yet. Unless of course you have a shitload of money or you work for one of those gayass magazines. So put your dicks back in your pants and take a cold shower because you won't be seeing too many BADASS 06 SI's hooked up for a while. For the 20K I would definitely buy a used SRT-4 w/20K miles that grandpa bought because it was cool and then traded it in. I'm sure you can find one now for $15K because they don't hold there value at all (it's a neon). And with the other 5K's put it in the engine. Or get some really ------ hot hookers and go to Vegas.

Hookers and Vegas and SRT-4 > 06 civic Si

They had a turbo mazda. Protege speed I believe. I took one out for a spin. Very nice handling but not crazy first. Reading up on em bigger FMIC and an exhaust and a boost controller they would push the SRT-4 of the podium. But anywho...I also drove the 06 Coblat ss Supercharged. That is a very nice car. 205hp nothing crazy but the styling and design was the ----.

Or like the PT Cruiser selling for over $$30k , now they can't even give them away.

Now as far as the parts opinion, if they are staying K-series, which I believe they are I did hear a rumor of a new engine family, most parts from the RSX and the current Si should, might, or will work on the 06. The ECU's are probably very similar, so they can be swapped around and tuned however needed, and most parts already available will only need some tweaking.

I can assure you they won't sell for under 20k for a while, maybe never. The 99-2000 sold way over price, and stayed that way for a long time.

saw it at the NYIAS at the javitz center

and as for the smg tranny in the m3 - it's ------- great - still rather have a manual but this trans is very very responsive
and the shifts are adjustable to how you're feeling that day

Guess I'm a little late for input, but I think it looks pretty nice. I'd rock one. From some angles it looks a little sketchy, but every car does to me when its in stock form. I have yet to see one in person..

very very responsive doesn't describe entering launch mode, it's in a completely different dictionary.
