i wouldnt have thought the 3" crush bends would have an internal diameter of less than 2.5" though

Fluid dynamics son. If you keep chaing the diameter of the piping, you lose velocity. That is what exhaust is all about, velocity.

I"m sorry but you're a dumb ------- idiot. Post turbo exhaust has nothing to do with velocity. You want least amount of back pressure. the bigger the exhaust, the better. Period. ------- schween.

mandrels are more expensive than crush bends whatever size you have, and yes everything over here is nice and expensive, oh how i love to pay the equivalent of $8 per gallon of fuel.

I dedcided on the 2.5" mandrels as i like my rear LCA's to move!

he is right to a point, na and turbo exhausts are completly differnt when talking about crush bends. You need scavanging on na and crush bends and too large of exhaust kills that but you dont need scavenging on a post turbo exhaust you just dont need restriction or back presure

Re: 2.5" or 3.0" exhaust?

more velocity exiting turbo = less backpresure.. so what the hell are you argueing about spenser
