I just switched to xp so my old camera wont download to it.........but

This is a pretty easy swap and can be done using a older non running xr7 and a cheap thunderbird turbo coupe (1500.00 or so) I will call this a budget build.

The original car went mid 11's with a 100 thousand plus miles on the odometer so the 2.3 was pretty tired.

I did a very similer swap but I used a pinto (pics coming soon) I have a buddy who is currently building a fiesta and another who has done this to a early chevette and runs mid 11s also.

Thats the funny thing all that motor had was a homemade header, if I remember a adjustable timing cog and a ranger roller cam, it was running mid 11s with 100 thousand miles on it.

The turbo 2.3 in the right body is quite capable of running mid 12s pretty much stock

For a gutted out race car the boost-bros car wasn't really all that quick.
Mine was street driven and much heavier and wemt 10.88 @ 126, with a better motor setup and larger turbo the boost bros car would of been scary fast. Low 10's high 9's probably would of not been that hard to get.
