103killowats and 320 newton meters as a power rating prolly means no US cars, and i could have sworn that there were more diesel hondas overseas. as for factory turbo(non diesel), we may be seeing one from honda in america very soon ;D

Wow.

That's some pretty advanced ----, why haven't I heard about GM doing these kinds of things? Does GM or any other domestic company have anything like this?

It's a shame we probably won't ever see that technology here in the states.

that engine is designed to get the best gas mileage it can. its still going to be a very low output motor in a slow car.

those motors probably wont be able to make an incredible amount of ppower because of the 3mm thickness between the cylinder walls, I bet when people start upping the boost they will have headgasket issues

Actually the Chevy Duramax diesel has a variable vane turbo that is electronically controlled. I looked at my dad's truck and there is 8 wires going to the turbo. As far as all the other tech stuff on the honda motor i dont think anybody else makes anything near that.

I think it converts to about 138 hp and 260 ftlbs.

i want the honda city motor so much, it's always been my goal to have one of those tiny k-car engines running a shitload of boost with an 11000 rpm redline ;D
