1995 tsi awd oil pressure drop

OK so this is fun, i bought a 95 TSI AWD from some guy in NY, when i got the car the oil pressure was a little bit lower then the normal pressure mark in the middle. i drove the car all the way to michigan having a blast and the car ran great but every once and a while it would feel like it would bog for a second like the motor was stopping it with a brake. anyways i got to michigan and i dropped all oil pressure and the oil light came on (i automatically pulled over and shut the car off) i looked under the car and low and behold there was 3 quarts of oil on the ground (the rest was on teh freeway behind me. so after a few min i traced the problem (a non-turbo oil filter on a turbo car) fun fun! so i went up to the nearest auto store (24hr murrys hehehe) and got the correct filter and some oil. replaced the filter, put in oil, and fired it up. got oil pressure back to what it was at before, right at normal pressure but a lil lower, so i drove it the next day all day and the oil pressure dropped to right above the low line and i was like ---- so i checked the oil, it was still full...... WTF!? so i was like ive got no other car so i drove it home... the next day i drove it to a buddys house and it started knocking..... well ---- ill limp it home and tear it apart tomarrow... well it didnt make it home neadless to say... it started knocking louder and louder (i knew the motor was fucked from the first sign of knocking, i didnt care) so i kept driving and the oil pressure dropped fully.... and the motor was really pissed and it went Kaboom and shot one of the connecting rods through the block... so my perdicament.... Oil pump gone, turbo leaking /cracked reducing oil pressure, oil pickup tube bent/crimped.. what could it have been??? (i just bought the car it and was fucked so the guy is putting a new motor in) but im curious what could have done this?

Herpes infested asian gangster wannabe?

Hey jackass, maybe driving with low oil pressure fried your bearings and then let the rod let loose. ever think of that one? Probably shouldve checked over the car before leaving for such a big trip, and when you noticed oil pressure loss but kept going, you owned yourself.
