Default 1993 Civic Si Hatch
I just picked up a 1993 Civic Si Hatch, its got a D16Z6 in it stock.

its a SOHC 1.6 L

Does anyone know if they are V-Tec i've heard that they are and i've heard that they arn't... does anyone know?

i thought so cause i can hear it and feel it pull harder at like 5200 rpm, but i was told that it wasn't, and it doesn't say anything on the valve cover or anything.

Easiest way to find out is look for the Vtec solenoid.

I'm saying it's spelled Vtec, not V-tec or V-tech or however you ricer **** like to spell it :1
