1991 VW Golf
 
what would make gasoline mix with oil, because mine is mixing pretty bad, i change the oil like once evry 6 weeks. and i get to drive it for another 6 weeks before it mixes to the point where its not goo to drive any more, and now i dont even drive it anymore just trying to figure whats wrong with it any ideas?? maybe head gasket??

maybe you whole engine not just the gasket. what kind of compression dose it have ? do that and then come back if you have to. but wait don’t take my word on it im just a kid on a comp. that blow up two engines in one month. lol

you probably just need a fresh block. how many miles are on that fucker? throw an aba bottom end on it.

havent vw's been known for loosing compression, thats what i had always thought.

The factory oil coolers fail a lot more than head gaskets do. Check the cooler right above the oil filter.

this happened to my buddy's car, i'll ask him next time i see him.
