ok, so im not all with this yet! I have a 1988 STD civic HB....yeah its the junk Hb with the 4spd standard tranny....and i decided to turbo the car.....I am usuing a RHB5 turbo off a old probe i found in a junk yard.....i have everything on the car....MBC, 1g DSM bov, JRC intercooler, and all the charge pipes. My question before i run the car is Fuel management? The car is a DPFI. i know i dont have many options cuz of my junk car....I have plans of motorswappin it in the spring...i just wanna do this till then to fulfill my time....anyhelp on my options would greatly be appreciated?

Get a rope or convert to MPFI. It's a pile of parts and adding some wires, you can do it.

everything i read was MPFI.....thats why I asked....i didnt really wanna change to the MPFI...this is only a haha winter im bored kind of thing....before i motorswap in the spring. So does that mean there is no way to run boost on the DPFI?

Yea, but your options are much better if you go MPFI and besides, if your going to 'swap' in the spring, there ain't nothing worth swapping in that is DPFI so the wiring part of the conversion has to be done anyway. My thoughts, do the conversion now and get it running properly. That way if/when you swap if there are any troubles, that is one less part of the equation you have to be concerned with being wrong. IMO (and I am not sjudging you cause I don't know your skil level) too many people try to do too much at one time and end up with a POS project that they can't get to run right or they just give up on. Your car, your choice

I agree with what you said....and thanks for the link! I know i need to do the MPFI swap...but at the same time...I only work in the spring and summer and have the winter season off....so i try to watch my money in the winter. thanks alot guys for the help!
