1974 Mazda RX-4s
so yea, i was told to make my own thread on my mazdas...so here it is.
this is how they were sitting when we stumbled across them
the moment i saw them, i knew i had to have them...especially when i found out they were rotary engines
well the summer went by and i went and talked to the owner again. he said they were still for sale and we could work out a price...but he wanted them out of there quickly. so we worked on scrounging up a place to put 10 cars. while we were doing that we pulled all of the cars out of the coulee they were in and got them lined up and ready for transport to wherever their new home would be.
well, for some odd reason somebody decided they wanted in the trunks of these cars...and bad, so they pried up the trunk lids while they were sitting out waiting to be transported.
well we found a new coulee to put most of the cars in...one of my mazdas came to the school with me and one went to "the 40"(a place where my buddy stores his two LeCar parts cars). heres the parts car on the way to the 40
well today i decided i wanted to see if this thing would run...but i dont have keys for it. so, i put power to the coils, jumped the wires on the starter and my buddy dumped gas down the carb...sure as ----, it fired right off and sounds very healthy. (psshht...ill never make it run) it does smoke...alot, but i believe thats due to the 1/3 quart of oil i dumped down the carb before cranking it over....
thats all i got for now..

Re: 1974 Mazda RX-4s
that thing sounds sexy as hell. haha
good ----. You keeping all 10 cars then? whats your plans for the rx-4's? How difficult would dropping a newer rotary in there be?
I love the look of the wrap around dash in the 3rd pic
