From what I was told, they try. If they kill someone in a justified shooting they run less risk of being sued, since the mother ****** is dead. :P If they shoot and the dipshit survives he can sue for all kinds of bullshit. the law sucks sometimes. Some jackass can crawl in my window and take a ---- on my kitchen counter and I can't "legally" bust a cap in his ***. Now, if he *happens* to be found with a large knife in his hand with a turd hanging out of his ***, then it's justified.
