165 at the wheels

I spent all day today on the rolling road and finally went home with a dyno graph showing a max power of 165 bhp at the wheels and max torque of 163ft/lbs this is at 5 psi on a DOHC ZC, do you think this is a good figure? whats everyone else's motors pushing out?

Re:165 at the wheels

yeah, for only 5psi i think thats respectable. those torque numbers look great!

Re:165 at the wheels

yeah that sounds pretty good actuallyl. The tourque being 163 is very impressive indeed. You should actually post the #'s so we can see

And a list of your motor/turbo setup.
165whp and 163trq is nothing to complain about, that'll eat up a type r.

Re:165 at the wheels

why only 5 psi, thats pretty much nothing

surfer 03-17-2004 06:50 PM

Re:165 at the wheels

I'll post the dyno sheet up when i get back from work.

here's the setup

DOHC ZC (euro crx)
PP5 ECU running TE2 pretty ------- well
.42 compresor .48 exhaust T3 with 40 trim wheel
450's
forge motorsport FMIC
prism BOV
s/s charge pipes

Its only at 5 psi cos i got a shite actuator from a saab with the APC on it so it operates at next to nothing and there's only so much pressure you can bleed off it before it stops contoling accurately, i got the apc solenoid just gotta get time to hook it up. I'm thinking of posting some pics of my setup, its funny getting responses most of my posts seem to go unnoticed :'(

yo surfer nice man.
i got me a PP4 ecu from a concerto....I already put a zif socket in it. The concerto had a D16Z2 engine in it...first time I've seen one. looks like a D16A6 IMO.
Send me that bin to man...I'll be running a ZC in my EG shortly :)

Or just send me the tune and I'll post it on the TurboEDIT website..

..that's what th "MAp Library" is for kiddos. :D

Make sure you comment the export with information about your tune.

Dave, I'm still waiting on Dustins. Do you have it?

Re:165 at the wheels

Dustins partthrottle fuel is a mess. It was tuned for WOT A/F only. Im sure he has been making lots of part throttle changes with his new PLX Wideband ;) Im sure youd rather have his newest version than this one:

Thanx for the idle location address too, its been helping out w/ a friends car.
I figured out how you found it, and used Uberdata to find the ELD and O2 heater in my Hondata bins. (Ver2.5 doesnt let you disable them) Took a few hours as the Hondata bin was a bit garbled, but it worked ;D Thanks again.

Yay I posted a pic, i'm not completely retarded, sorry bout the shitness of it but i havent got access to a scanner, you'll notice that there is a dip between 4 4.5krpm thats my fault, bit of a ---- up with the timing by the looks of it but the timing wasnt really looked at because at £50 per hour i wanted to get the ---- off the rollers,

Jason: I'll post that .bin to you asap

everyone else who wanted a copy and doesnt want to wait for it to be put on the website i'll try and mail it to you, i'm hoping you have adjustable fuel pressure.

Semnos: you had a euro rex didnt you ? any ideas where to put the O2 wire to the ECU, I got the pinouts but where the O2 should go there is another wire, I suppose I should compare it with my Jap spec rex when I get the time.
