15 years for legal registration????
 

so im looking on ebay for skylines (like i usually do when the interweb looses its pep near the end of my shift) when i come across an R32 type-m(shitty model) and in the description it says For those concerned about legal 15 year dates, this is a January 1990 production date so it is legal for registration. does that mean you don't have to spend thousands of dollars just to be able to drive it on the steet in the US? btw, lately i have been seeing more and more skylines already on US soil on ebay.

You'll find that the person selling it is talking about Canada.

I have seen a lot of stuff about that in canada. Here in the US, I think that it has to be longer to qualify as a collector.

certain states are have diff time frames, most are 15-20yrs
here in VA it's 20

in VT its a lot less then that im pretty sure. You don't have to be able to pass emissions unless your car is newer then 96 and you don't need a title if its over 10 or so years old.
