12.5 inch wide tires

i bought some 33" 12.5 wide mickey thompson baja claws and I was wondering if the stock mid 90's 8 inch wide rims would be able to work with these

Re: 12.5 inch wide tires

yes they will work, but 10" wide would be better suited. the OEM rims are going to sit the wheel in the fender farther, so you might have some rubbage when the steering wheel is crammed either direction.

33x12.50's go onto 15x6 toyota rims all the time.

Baja Claws are gay, unless you cut them.

if this is 6-bolt i have some 3.25" backspaced rims off of my toyota, 15x8. if i ran beefier tires or a 11.50 wide, i would legally need flares.

Ya Baja claws suck off road.

Goodyear MTR's or BFG M/T's are wicked though.
