11.3 Pr3 ownz me...
Well today I finally wrapped up getting my Flatrate B18 back together.
It fired right up, no major smoke issues (yet) The engine has a different exhaust note to it than before, its a bit deaper and louder. I didnt think bumping the CR would change it that much but it did.
The engine needs alot of tuning, I'm so scared of it right now, I loaded my b20 fuel map and backed the timing way way down. I took it for a quick test drive and sure as ---- it does spool a bit faster than before. Holding a steady 8psi. I dont think I will be ------- with the boost at all with this one.
Maybe I'll even baby it a little bit..

btw, I'm so happy the gold valve cover is gone, and polishing up the manifold looks pretty decent, its not to goldy anymore. I'm sure after a few heat cycles it will be blinging gold again

Nice, yea i wasnt to fond of the Gold Vlave cover either. But i never judge ur work by colors and ----, u always put together the craziest ---- and make some descent #'s with it. That what i like. Glad its all running good for now, be careful mr high compression.

damn, that looks much better man, i thought the gold looked o.k., but now that i see it black, that was a good move when are you guys havin another dyno day? interested to see what the numbers are with a good
