Damn, sorry to hear about ur motor. I just up'd the boost on mine frim 5 to 9 psi, hopefully she holds up.

Shitty bout the new ventilation on your block. Did it let go around @<6000rpm? or 6k+?
I wonder if its the raw TQ that kills em, or the TQ + high revs that pushes them over the top.

the LS motor going in will be boosted.
The bottom end of the motor is built with mahle forged pistons and scat rods, honda bearings, arp main studs, golden eagle girdle. The B16A2 head im gonna use is either getting portflow valvetrain or omnipower valve train, GSR cams, AEBS intake and fuel rail and 550 tuner toys injectors
management on it will be a chipped PR4 running turboedit tuned for a 12psi map. Hopefully that shouldnt have any problems.
I cant remember what my timing was set at, i can go back through my notes and check it out.
The block gernaded at about 5500 rpm
