i know the last part pretty well. got an offer at a bodyshop for unlimited overtime at my discression, $2.50/hr more over the current job, only catch was i needed tools(big deal already had them) so i left a pay the bills job for, and when i get there (after application, interviews, etc etc) i find out my job that i applied for was moved to a different employee, and i was left to do collision/frame repair, requiring ASE certification for said job and wound up with pants around my ankles so to speak. luckily i got to get unemployment which is only like $150 less per mo thanks to having 3 months of $2200+ income from carsales. omg text wall

it sucked, but making $200 less/mo not having to pay for gas, wear and tear, having free time, actually getting my projects taken care of, its worth the few bucks less
