Default 05 si with greddy kit

I had acustomer come in today with an '05 civic si hatch, basic non intercooled 6 psi greddy kit with full greddy exhaust, i was just doing brakes on it, ( not a performance shop just a repair shop) but naturally i test drove it after i was done with the brakes, and to say the least i was so un impressed i almost puked, that thing was sooooo ------- weak i would have to let off in every gear in my crx just to give him a chance to catch up, i figured it would be decent, a k motor with boost should do ok, but i guess not...then when the guy came to pick it up he claimed 233 whp, which may be true, i dont know how heavy those newer hatches are, but if it did have 233 whp it must weigh like 5,000 lbs. and then he asked me about my crx so i told him about it...and he started gettin' all shitty makin' excuses saying when he added an intercooler it was gonna put him over 300 whp i wanted to take him out on a back road and just destroy his hopes and dreams, but that wouldnt be very good customer service, so i bit my tongue and just imagined what it'll be like when i do pull up next to this moron on the street someday and show him how a REAL boosted hatch runs.....

You gave the reason why it was slow in the title a greddy kit, running 6pis, no intercooler, etc. will equal non impressive. Did it even have a bov, I know those greddy kits are really basic for what you pay.

the ep3 motor is trash... im still cofused as to why honda would go from a 1600 cc motor making 160 hp, to a 2000 cc motor making 160 hp.... desnt add up if you ask me.

the rsx-s and rsx-r motors on the other hand are a lil more reputable.
