Update

Well I finally finished everything... It was a bitch to do under the hot *** sun, but everything is bolted up and running good and nothing leaks.....

I removed the oil pan from the old engine and cranked it over manually with the plugs still in, and you can hear the air escaping out of the bottom, This concludes the rings were totally fucked, and the crankcase was getting pressurized like a ----------er... thats why it was smoking like crazy.....

ANyways.... 1 man swaps are something else i'll tell you that.. im used to working with other people on major thigns like this... but this really brings out the best in you... and tests your patience and limits, and it feels pretty damn good knowing you got the job well done...

PS.... DO you have to retorque OEM HONDA head gaskets after you install and run them or should they be good to go torqued them to 56lbs

Updated update.....

Took it for a drive under boost conditions... and the SOB is over heating...

The head is fucked..... POS>... have to take the old one off and use that one...

heres a math equation for you

(bad block+Good Head) DEvided by (good block+Bad Head)= Good Motor

ARE U REUSINg your head bolts? if u are i would torque them dowm more that what the book says. i always torque my ---- down to 70lbs cuzz i know those fcken bolts strectch. shiti think ive even done 80lbs before.

80 ft lbs!!! Stock is 47!!! BTW, you don't have to retorque Honda head bolts but, I guess the head you put on was screwed anyway, so...

well i had the other head on there and running... but it was overheating stilll....... ----..... i was pissed.... really pissed.... 3 days of work for nothing.....


then i went to check the coolant hoses... and i noticed that the hose from the radiator to the thermostat was cold... and the top hose was hot as ----.... well duh.... the ------- thermostat was closed shut.... Wouldnt open for ----.... damn,.... that sucked... i removed the head for nothing... well not really for nothing....i put the better looking one... i guess im getting the old one rebuilt...

SO now im running with no thermostat till tuesday.... when the autoparts stores are open again...

And i turned the boost down to 9psi.... i dont want to ---- with it untill i get my other engine in... and when i finish it and its ready to drop... im taking this poor bastard to the track and rape the living ---- out of it RENR style.....

at least you found out what it was before anything else got damaged. i hope u take some video when u blow that thing up. 20psi! 20psi! 20psi! 20psi!

HEHE... i made that manifold... and destroyed the blueprints in my brain with some beer... so i can never make another one that can be used against me....

JK... i made that ----.... and its pretty much indestructible. and looks pretty sick...
