so, I finally got everything settled with insurance. They're gonna send me a check for 6000 to cover the damage to my car. HOWEVER, the ------- tow company that I had tow my car called me and said that it had been broken into, and my intercooler/charge pipes/leather interior had been stolen. They're willing to cover it, ONLY if I have ALL my repairs done at their shop. I said ---- no, and now they're saying since their insurance won't cover it unless everything, including my accident damage, is repaired in their shop so they won't pay me ----. ------- ASSWADS...damn i'm so pissed. I don't trust em to fix my car, and besides i was just gonna get my frame pulled and drop a JDM conversion on myself instead of getting USDM ---- again anyway. What to do?

Do you not trust this place to fix the parts though? Hell, if they replace them, then why not?

okay, do not sign the papers when you get your car back. The papers will say that thet are not responsible for any damages incurred on their property. You might wanna call your insurance company and tell them what happened and probably call the cops and tell them what the tow yard told you. Cause I know that they have servalance and see if the cop can obtain it. That is a really fucked situation.

sorry to hear that bud.. on a side note i used to work for a tow company.. we would pull ---- like this on peoples cars just so that we could get money for fixing there car.

sounds like the shop is trying to get to fix it and thinking you are a dumb ricer they are trying anything they can to keep it there to ---- ya. get a layer and sue the ---- out of them (the shop and hte insureance company) you might end up with an s2k at the end of it. insureance companys cant do that BTW... tehy are suposto cut you a check and then you go and have the work done in 90% of the cases.

It sounds like the towing company or holding yard stole your ----. It happens all the time around here.
Same ---- happened to my friend. His car(1.8T golf) was totalled. The insurance company gave him money, but the junkyard would not allow him to get any of his performance ---- back off his car so he decided to take it back himself. He went in at night and took it all back.
