*PICS 56k don't click, 50 pictures,iwo jima, random
Well these are some pics i took during my last trip to iwo jima and guam and a few other places last year. Saw a few people liked junkyard racers pics of iwo jima. Not very often you find two people on the same board that have been to that island.
Shattered our windshield after taking off out of iwo one day, made an emergency landing in guam and stayed there for 5 days at a resort. We had to wait for another plane to fly a windshield to us from kadena.This was the view out of my balcony.
Just thought this was a cool sunset picture when i took it.

Yea they are all fucked on ships, no reason to hall them off, they used those for landings back in the war, go to franks post, i quoted his and mine,identicle. lol
I need to fly out there, but that ---- is about a 50+ hour flight and over 2k dollars

oh its not that long! i think from here in wa we went to hawaii, that was like 8-9 hours or something on our p3, then to iwo jima from hawaii that was like 12 hours , then iwo to guam was about 4 i think if i remember correctly, then guam to misawa wasa few, then misawa to alaska then alaska back to whidbey island,wa

damn rawr thats a ways. Well if i was doing a 7th fleet deployment again next month then i would,but looks like next month i go from wa to hawaii, hawaii to kadena,japan, then to thialand, then to japan again, then to qatar then to iraq
BTW, they had vending machiens on that tiny base there with beer in it =)
