wassup guys.... im new to this site, HMT ive heard alot of goood things bout this site so i thought i would check it out...i have a 97 ex coupe thinking bout putting together a turbo for my d16y8.... i wanted to ask wats the best turbo for my SOHC d16y8 i waz thinkin the garret t3...what you guys think.....?

i have a 99 coupe with a y8, my first setup i tried a t25 and it was way to small so my next one i went with a .42/.48 t3 set at 10psi. i like it alot, it pulls pretty good. once the track opens i'll let you know what kind of times it does.

The car looks pretty good With that said Read the FAQ, a lot is answered there. Pretty much as a basic daily driver any d-series engine from 88-2000 will run pretty good with a t3 42/48 from a saab or a volvo. I ran an IHI first, now I have a t3 from a volvo, a lot better I'm happy with it. 180-200hp is very possible, actually it should get close to that with a turbo.

black slips are played out. i would get white ones. VSM on white looks damn good if you ask me. just read around and it will come to you. just look at peoples setups and see what they have. just read around and dont ask stupid fucken questions and you'll be alright :P
