I shall now re-insert what I typed earlier in the 'found a great deal' thread..

Damn fast n furious movies have completely ruined the reputation of nitrous. They were endorsed by Holley/Weiand to use the brand name Nitrous Oxide Systems. N2O/Nitrous is a generic term used by many other companies such as Zex and Edelbrock. Unless it's a holly double pumper carb with solid floats running a blow thru turbo setup I really hate Holly products (even tho I do run a Weiand intake manifold for the sbc).

If you're going to get it, at least buy the Edelbrock kit.. I'm just not a big fan of Holly products

I've learned to just respond to people referring to nitrous as "NOS", thats why I just responded without really thinking twice. But Ryan, you're right, that stupid movie did kill nitrous's reputation as a good alternative power source :(

nitrous oxide has always been a poor alternative power source.. well unless tuning has been brought the upmost care when it's introduced.

That movie if anything ruined Holly's reputation with their ------- 'NOS' (Nitrous Oxide Systems) product. If anything it's swift justice to see these morons just throw a dry 50 shot in their motor and roast it a week later.. idiots!

i had a 120 wet shot on my rx7 and it survived about 15 bottles. then the stock clutch got roasted and i threw a apex seal... but it was damn fun

Nitrous has been type branded as NOS since WAY before the F&F came out. My older brother referred to it as NOS or "the baby bottle" since I can remember, which is is like late 80's early 90's. NOS is simply an Acronym for a "Nitrous Oxide System" and one of the early providers decided to capitalize on it since that was what eveyone called it anyway. It's smart marketing..
