Default **FIBERGLASS** Can You /Mould/Bend It With Heat? *hood*

So Ive got a fiberglass hood, got it to fit pretty mint except the very front lip, the part that comes down between the headlights isnt at as much of an angle as the bod line of the car, like 15 degrees off actually, I can push it down itno place (maybe and inch) and it looks ****
Now obviously I cant get it to stay like this

Can I take a butane/brazing torch and heat up the corner of the hood and get it to push down into place without warping /distorting the hood?

I dont care about the paint, its flat black so thatll be easy, but I need this to fit better

Let me know what I can do

You can try Acetone to disolve the resin a little and then mold it, But I would say that would be a risk of recking the hood!!

Next time buy a quality Body Kit/Hood or none at all( ) and you'll be good!

I debated going back to stock, but a $250 fiberglass (3lb or less) hood I just couldnt and still cant pass

Heat cant reshape it?

I know you can mould fiberglass, Ivve done things like hokcye sticks and such, but is this a different type?

Fiberglass is cool Ive got one aswell

I think some heat form a good distance (6-8") and a lot of time and little pressure would help it go down though

cut that part off and remake it. or just cut it off. or make a brace inside that pulls it together if there room. then patch up the holes u made.

try a heat gun. I've seen it done for side skirts, so it might work.
