Default $500 budget turbo on D15B7

Is it possible to turbo my d15b7 sohc non vtec ar a lil bit? my car has 100 hp. i just need a little bit more horespower. will cheap turbo increase my car 50hp -75 hp more? can i build a turbo from the junkyard and buy some other stuff? i hear stories of ppl blowing their engines. how do i avoid blowing my engine? if i add a boost controller and set it to 7 with a small turbo that matches my engine will this avoid blowing the motor? will any turbo from any car work? for example a turbo from subaru wrx or 300 zx. thanks!

Hell I built my kit for 400 with good ----! Only thing you gotta worry about is what condition is your engine in? Don't boost some old beatup burning oil knocking POS. Well you could and just unhook the WG but aint nothing bad about a b7 just boost a healthy motor and you'll be fine.

you'll need a junkyard turbo, junk yard intercooler, steal a BOV and injectors from a junkyard the same day you buy the ic and turbo, cheap log style manifold, etc. good luck
with a $500. budget.
