$1300 Welding hood

one cool thing about those welders is that it keeps your face cool with the air blowing in the mask

plus they added lenses on the side so you have better peripheral vision

The best welder I know actually has a hand deformity where his middle finger is about the same size as his pinky, which too was pretty stuby but more towards the normal size, but it makes sence cause now all those big fingers don't crowd up the place.

Thats the same exact one i have. A friend took it from work and gave it to me. I love it for the most part. but it is very easy to block the pickup sensor with a peice of pipe (shadow) and have it not switch over.

True but I weld on a bench and run high amps and volts. I weld little pipe at work. Its mainly channel and box tubing. I have 2 other speedglas hoods and never had a problem welding pipe. the only downside I have found with them is you cant run pulsed tig it flickers too much. I have been sick of coughing up black ----.

I bet you could make a killer bong outta that ******! ---- man, it would like an auto toke and then you'd just sit there and breath heavy until you were too baked too think or move. Hmmm maybe I'm on to something here! I could make $1300 bongs!
