You're missing a huge point JD.

The turbo dampers all kinds of vtec noises so you can't scare people out of racing you as easy as naturally asspirated.

i didnt want to post this to get into an all motor vs. turbo kind of thread(obviously this is HMT). i just wanted to know if the tuning rates were competiitive to those that you all have paid/charged. this car is going to be used more for road course/ autox in mind so im not trying to build a big power drag setup. i just want to get the most out of the car so it can be in competitive classing. i posted this and still frequent this site for all motor stuff as well just because it usually has better info in general about cars and tuning than the others.

Fuckstick, do you know who I am, and have you at any point paid the single lick of attention to what I espouse? I am not a Full-Rice nutswinging peak-volumetric efficiency ******. The CRX we took to Pinks and finished third with makes 411 peak with an average power of over 400 for the usable powerband of 6500-9500 rpms. None of that ****** 700 whp peak 125 whp average for the last 3000 rpms of the operating range Honda-Tech ----... you know, the sort of Honda-Tech ---- that has you all JDM hopped up on a 10 whp power gain from tuning, on a setup running a $900-1200 header.

This is Homemade---------Turbo, since you aren't paying attention.
good to know i guess

the general consensus in the thread seemed to be that he shouldn't tune it because it wasn't turbo, my original point was to say thats bullshit. i simply pointed out a few things i believe to be wrong, i dont need to know your life story.

people are always looking to get into the all motor Vs. turbo discussion so might as well let them do it. seems to be more of personal preferance then anything when choosing what your going to do to your car. you shouldn't feel like you can't come here because you don't have a turbo car, i sold my turbo car over a year ago. but if you think about it probly over 50% of people here don't have bosted cars and never will
