Re: zc turbo?
Sohc or dohc? Stock block or built?
If it's a stock block I'd prefer a 48/60 or a 63/60. |

Re: zc turbo?
I'd get a 63/60 if you can, but a 48/60 would work well. Came off 85-87 (maybe 84-87) automatic T-Bird turbocoupes had the .48 ex. housing, manuals had the .63.

Re: zc turbo?
ok i decided on the turbo which will be a 14b with adapter plate and hf mani.i got one last question.FUEL if i boost to 9 pounds can i get away with useing a missing link 310cc inj the safc, this is just till i convert my zc to obd1 then im going to tune with chrome.
|
Re: zc turbo?
u dont use a missing link with a safc, safc is a waste of time. with the amount of money used to buy a safc u could get a chipped ecu with a base map and then go tune.

Re: zc turbo?
well i going to order a chipping kit from xenocron for my jdm pm7 and canovert evrything to obd1.and i already got an safc sitting here.ill porb just sell it.if u get chiped and tuned i wont need a fmu ethier?im spedning most my time now seraching and reading.anyone know where i can get a good base map for boosted dohc zc stock block stock head on 8 pounds.ill be using 310cc inj from the prelude.im going to the junk yard today see if i cant pick up an hf mani, and try to find a good uncrushed bov.and a 14b<<which i doubt i find one but woth a try.i got antoher question?on only 8-9 pounds i should be fine with stock map sensor?and for u hardcore turbo guys what kinda oil u running?ive had my dohc zc for almsot 2 years runs like a champ dont leak or burn a drop of oil.although i do have a small tick in my head, but it has always done that since i did the swap.and i have read thats normal zc vavle train noise.

Re: zc turbo?
xenocron can burn u a base map juss tell him ur setup but i suggest u get rid of the 310 prelude injectors and get some 450's and no u do not use a fmu with a base map and u should be fine with ur stock map with 8 - 9 lbs.

Re: zc turbo?
wont 450s be to big for only 8-9 pounds?
