Sorry because I'm going to sound like an idiot but what would be a good turbo for a DOHC ZC. I know everyone loves the T-25 but I don't want way to fast of a spool up and some people say T-3 will spool way to high in RMP's. If you guys could help me out and if you a certain ZC setup that you like let me know about. Also I'm only going to boost 7-8 psi to start out with then eventually build to about 16-17 psi. If I had a zc I'd run a 48/60 T3 or at most smallest 48/42 T3.

 

I'm going to try a 14b once I buy a new intercooler. I was running a 20g turbo a few months back and it had crazy top end and I was only boosting 5-6 lbs.

 

well depending on the boost levels, go with the t25 for quicker spool, but if your going to like 10psi i would go with the 48 60.

 

i have a 14b on now it it spools low 3000 and pulls to 7000, good enough for me.

 

i run a 14b on my zc, spools fast but at about 6800 rpms you can feel the turbo is at its effeciancy specialy in third gear, i plan to uprade to a T3 somday

 

CivicZC runs a t3 60 trim .42/.48 AR and spools pretty low and pulls nice.

 

Definitely nothing smaller than a T3. Why put a turbo on that your stock motor is too big for? Might as well get one you can use in the future too.

 

This is true,I personally regret using such a small turbo. I've been running a small turbo for a few months now and already upgrading to a 48/60 T3.
