I had a magazine that tested the big 9 boost controllers out and the ones that finished off at the top were the greddy digital one and the avcr. Also the manual ball and spring controller did good too and you can find those for cheap. The other digital ones they tested had some boost spiking problems.

I have a road race engeneering one and it seems to be real good quality. It locks into place so your settings don't get messed up. I havn't tried it out yet, but I'm sure it will do it's job.

i got one from home depot in the plumbing section for around 3$ and it works fine. i dunno why anyone would waste any large amounts on money on a different mbc.
the electronic ones work slick, but other than that i say, homedepot does the trick

what did you buy at home depot for $3 that works great

you can make your own boost controler with simple fittings, a spring and ball bearing. It works just as well. I think theres a thread about making one in the New Users section.

For a barebones simple ebc, you can't beat the Profec B.

Sorry this is gonna sound stupid but is this just a DSM thing or will this work on a turbo honda as well? And any boost spike problems with this MBC? Thanks any help is appreciated.

Re:in your opinion: best boost controller

It will work on any turbo car. I never had any problems with my TurboXs MBC.

Re:in your opinion: best boost controller

i have heard good things bout the xs dual boost controller but i think it all comes down to taste and budget .......the dual would work great to control traction if running high boost and the fact that u can flick to a higher boost setting gives it a feel of having the nitrous too.
