LSD isn't needed.

60 trim T3 is way too small for 400whp.

It really is that simple to hit 400WHP, big turbo, big injectors, pistons/rods and a clutch to hold it all. If you want a better powerband, work the head a bit with cams and an intake, otherwise you can spend the extra money on wtfever you want, nice T-clamps, couplers and oil lines, ---- like that.

LSD isnt needed for 400? whats the point of that much power when all you will do is spin, even with DR's

and i meant hybrid turbo, not just a t3...

With 400whp, you're still gonna spin even with DRs, regardless of LSD or not.

W0rd. Are we building it for 400whp street whip or 400whp drag car? Unless it's for racing I'd leave the LSD option out. SC61 FTW. Do you guys think that sleeving the block is necessary? Block posting isn't as severe, but still...needed?

i like what ryan said except with a 70trim instead, i think a 60 would be out of effeciency by 400, 70 should hit be able to hit 450 and would give a little room

There is a local kid running a built GSR, can't remember what turbo, but he is putting down 400whp and has no lsd. At the track, he managed to put down an 11.12 his last run of this year, he was running slicks and still spinning like a bitch. I keep telling him to get an lsd, I know he can touch 10.8 if he doesn't break an axle. LSD not necessary, but man it would be a great help.

lsd makes a huge differance over an open diff. especially if you hit a slick spot with 400 hp. any front wheel drive car needs as much help with traction that they can get. i agree that wheels are going to spin with that power level regardless, but its much more of a controlled spin than one wheel smoking.
