Yet another turbo question
 
I'm looking to keep this as inexpensive as possible. The fuel setup already is going to set me back about $700 (keeping it returnless).

I'm looking over the OEM turbos generally easy to find in JY's like Chrysler T3's and Ford T3's.

I'm not sure any of those will keep me the results I want. So I have been thinking of a T3/T4 hybird or Super 60.

Which would spool slower?

I would like decent street manners and good track performance.

Rev Limiter is set at 7200rpm

So I'm I on the right track with a .48 A/R 50 Trim T3/T4B?

Max Boost for this setup (stock engine) 10-12psi max

well what engine is this going on? what kinda power(hp) are you looking for?

the t3 48/60's, or super 60's are pretty good sized turbo's for a single cam. guessing from your redline?

700 bucks for fuel managment :o how'd you come up with that?

I don't understand...you want to have an inexpensive tubo kit, but then you're dishing out 700 bucks for a returnless fuel setup? ??? If you have the money for that kind of fuel system you might as well put some hard money into your turbo setup.

unless it's necessary to to a returnless fuel setup might as well put the money into the turbo instead

I'm pretty sure T3/T04's never came stock on any car. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

1) Its not a Honda

2) I don't like FMU's too much, going the digital route with ignition control

Piggyback runs between - $350-550
SRT-4 Stage O injectors - $50-70
Walbro 255lph In-tank - $100-125

Crane Cam, Iceman Intake, MP Street Header, OBX Pulley, MP SOHC PCM, 56mm TB

I got a loose wrist pin that's causing piston slap. I have another '02 short block that came from another project that I'll be putting in.

Because its not really that much cheaper to go return-style

FMU- $100-300
STR-4 Stage 0 injectors - $50-70
Modified Fuel Pump Canister - $50-60 (brand new $140)
Walbro 255lph - $100-125
Various AN fittings for modified canister - $40-50
Aftermarket Fuel Rail - $50-100
Fuel Line (Rubber and Steel) $30-40
Misc. Hose Clamps, Crimps, etc - $20

Also keeping it returnless is alot faster in terms of installition. Neon's don't have the advantage of a hacked ECU with about 4-5 tuning options, some for free.

I also want to keep the MP PCM because it ups the limiter from 6725 to 7200, but I need to remove some of the timing that was added and there's no top speed limiter.

No, I was saying if I can't get the result that I want from OEM turbo, then I'll go with a medium cost unit. No T3/T4 hybird has been on a production car, but the Garrett Variable Nozzle is somewhat of a hybird you could say.

Both Hahn and Chill Factory turbo kits use Mistubishi TDO5H-16G-10CM2. Which offers good response and is capable of around 400hp with supporting modifications.

I just want solid power out to fuel cut, but excellent midrange and low end response.

My thinking was the smallest of the T3/T4B hybirds would do a better job at high RPM without the lag issues of running 60 trim wheel in the compressor housing of a standard T3.

For awhile I considered T28, just seems those run out of steam around 240-250hp and the short block is good to at least 270hp, with a few examples running for several years.

Just looking for a turbo that will do about 300hp without running a ton of boost. I would like to keep it to around 12psi max (6-7psi daily) and unleaded fuel.

Most of the SOHC's I have seen about 10-12psi come in around 230-240hp/250-260ft with a Super 16G

The only high cost of the system really is the piggy-back ECU I'm looking at does quite a bit including PWM boost control and launch control (2 Step).

Just wanted to get pointed in the right direction and I have been looking at Interga LS turbos on this site, since that engine and the Neon SOHC engine have simular rev ranges and output.
