yes... another catchcan thread
in some of your guys pics from the best catch can thread it doenst look like your routed back into the turbo intake but just from
pcv>can<valvecover i thought you were supposed to route back to pre-turbo for vac purposes. can you just run a breather on the can and this setup will be ok? i just sifted through 3 pages of search and thats what ive been reading ...sorry guys i know you have to love these threads :X |

Do that and youll be fine for boosted app. Venting the positive pressure from your crankcase will be done in both vaccum and boost with this setup using two pcv valves. |
Re: yes... another catchcan thread
could you go from PCV>vented-can<valvecover on a b series and it would work?

Re: yes... another catchcan thread
Only if its a naturally aspirated engine because if you use that setup on a boosted engine then the positive pressure from the crankcase has nowhere to go. If its boosted run it with that example with pcv valves

Re: yes... another catchcan thread
i was saying vented can like with a breather on the can top. wouldnt that allow the crankcase pressure to vent to the atmosphere? i know the other way is superior but it just seems like it would be a cleaner install and less hassle and cash to do it that way. thank you grasshopa

Re: yes... another catchcan thread
Well yeah kinda, I see alot of people just run a catch can from the valve cover to the atmosphere (venting to the ground)
