Re: YES another boosted D!!

i think you could hit your goal but youre going to max out that turbo at around 18 psi. but hell yeah!! crank up the boost with a good tune who knows how long your rods and ringlands will last. just cross your fingers. nice clean setup btw. manifold looks good as well as long as it doesnt have the herpes welds.

And here I was thinking this was a built motor. :1 Some guy on HT recently made 300whp on a ls-vtec with an unknown straight-T3 turbo, supposedly at 13psi topend. Motor was kinda junk too if I recall, and eyeball-tuned on the dyno (no datalogging). I think you can do it with 15-18psi, maybe less. Expect the rods to maybe hold up that high, but I wouldn't expect a moderately-high compression motor to keep the HG in 1 piece for long.

if it goes that OK with me.. that just means i can tell my wife that its time to get sleeves and build the ---- out of it... but as of right now she has me on hold from spending too much more money on it..

Re: YES another boosted D!! update 1 of many to come

OK guys i figured it was time for an update.. well i fixed my code 4 problem i was having..it wasnt even the distributor as i originally thought, it was just a broke wire at the ecu.. so fixed that and then i was digging around the interweb and saw some ef owners with wire tucks and i thought it looks super clean so i decided thats what i was going to start on.. i have the passenger side tuck 98% complete and i am going to probably going to leave the actual engine harness alone for now.. i need to get some more pics up for you guys to see what progress i have made along with more car shots rather than engine shots to keep MOST of you happy.. i will update with pics as soon as i can..

stock composite head gaskets hold pretty good actually I was running like 13+ psi on my a6 blew the ringlands first. 50psi on cyl 1 owns me :-[
