Default y7 manifold??

I've been looking for an STD manifold for the last few weeks.. all of them seem to be overpriced. And I can get a y7 manifold for a bit less than the std. But I would imagine that the clearnance issues would be pretty close with my garret t25 set-up. I was just wondering if anybody here has ever tried a d16y7 manifold on their set-up? Using this manifold would also eliminate having to port match it to my y8.

You can use the Y7 and cut off the cat and weld on a flange if you are that cheap.
