Check this the other morning some guy in a rsx-s cut me off put his flashers on and took off so it was on.Frome 70 mph to 130 (at 4 am in the morning, freeway was empty)I could not believe he could not catch up I dont know how my little d16z6 could do this, but it did.

d16z6 with:
aem camgear
crane ignition
cold air intake
p.y.r throttle boady
aem fuel rail
b&m a.f.p.r
d.c header
2 1/4'' exhaust with stock meffeler(i hate the fart cans!)
field vtec controller w/ vtec set at 5k and fuel leanned 4%
5 zigen 16 puond 17"rims(yess I can tell the difference frome my 25 pound TSWs)

I've read the rsx-s puts out about 165 or so to the wheels and it proabably is pretty heavy but it made me feel good ............the mighty "D" strikes again!!!!

dang thats pretty cool, I would like to have a CRX or a hatchback...but my Si is real nice and i dont feel like selling it...so im just going to do everything i can to save weight. BTW last night at the Texas Motorplex i saw a tan 89-91 hatchback with a HMT kit.. just wondering if that guy is a member of this site, pretty quick hatch, ran a 13.5 and smoked a new c5 corvette.. i bet that guy felt good.

you can prob lighten your car to about what a rex weighs from the factory. you would have to lose about 450 lbs. but then you wouldnt have an interior or stereo. just put a bigger turbo on, hah.

i think its cool your making a newer car that fast, not as many ppl do it, they just buy ghey bodykits, now thats some horsepower.

This guy posts his stock 2002 Cougar's Quarter Mile: 17.1 s @ 80.8 mph
http://miata.cardomain.com/id/silvercat02

A different article review, shows a stock Cougar ran a 16.0@ 85mph.
http://www.fostergrandparents.org/re...e020.html#perf

137 mph is the Motor Trend top speed for the Cougar. No speed governer on the V6.
