I am about to buy a turbo that has no barb fitting on it for the normal wastegate to boost controller to turbo setup



so how will i hook a boost controller up?

wastegate to boost controller to any vacaum line?

hook it up between your intake manifold and wastgate so it sees the actual pressure.

and make sure you dont hook it up backwards

that should say to vacuum source on IM or brake booster, not to BOV.

Next thing you know you'll have people plugging boost controllers into their blowoff valves.

 

i wish someone would make a MSPAINT drawing off all the vacuum lines. sometimes i get confused on where to T for what ya know.

like the BOV, the nipple on compressor housing, wastegate, the other end of the mbc. stuff like that

 

well it is usualy the closest form of vacume source, thats why people put a "T" off of it. looks better then having another line goin up the intake manifold.
