WTF happend

WTF i finished my car on friday night and drove it for the frist time on saturday. WOW it was fast so fast i never looked at the boost gauge. it was ------- crazy fast. well after that run around the block the car was not running right and smoking. later that night took the head off nothing looked bad, pulled all the pistons. 3 of them had broken ring landings the other the rod was bent.. well i replaced all 4 of them last night and have to go to work to day but i need some help. how do i hook up the wastegate and the blow off valve. i have a rhi maxda mx-6 turbo and apexi bov.. i need to know if i had the waste gate hooked up right?

Just make sure you supply both of them with vacuum, i don't recommend t'ing off somethign for vacuum. Tap into the back of the intake manifold and hook up some fittings and run vacuum lines into each. Top of the BOV and top of the Wastegate.

The wastegate should have a nipple on it. Connect that to the nipple onthe Compressor housing of the turbo w/ a vac hose. the BOV can be connected w/ the FPR.

ok so i have the wastegate running to the nipple on the turbo. with vacume line, but the apexi BOV i not working i teed it off at the fuel pressure reg. any other ideas do BOV go bad? so the wastegate takes postive pressure to move not negative? anything will help i got the car running agian, but dont want to hurt anything this time.

p.s. i tried moving the screw every way to make it work nothing

make sure you look at your boost guage when you hook everything back up. that's what its for.

Re:WTF happend

Don't T it to your FPR, Make it its own vacuum source. And yes watch your boost gauge.

Re:WTF happend

you can tee into your fpr for a vacuum source if needed. it wont hurt a thing. a vacuum is a vacuum wether u have 4 for 40 things connected to it, it will perform the same.
