but one thing a see a problem with is that the wastgate port is only on the one pipe it should be located where all the pipes meet.

The wastegate placement isn't exactly ideal but it should work okay. Don't be surprised if it causes some creep though.

It's the DRAG design which I've heard/read is known to creep.

The Drag Generation 3 kit has the wategate located on the same runner, i.e #1.
