working fuel injectors? (n00b question)

Hi, I'm just visiting here in the US. And these past few weeks, I've been collecting dsm 450's from a local junk yard. (We don't have dsm's back home). Now, I just want to make sure that they work. Is there a way for me to find out if they work, without putting them in a car? Thanks

yes, you can get them tested. just call around and ask if people will test them for you.

Shops specializing in diesels are the places that are more likely to (1) rebuild turbos and (2) test injectors....so call around..if a diesel shop doesnt do it, they'll know who does

One way to quick check them is to stick an ohm meter on them and see if they are around 2-4 ohms or so....if they are WAY different in resistance there is a pretty good chance they are toasted. If they read 0 ohms or if they read infinite (meter doesn't read anything) there's a pretty good chance they are finished.
