Default Will this turbo work?

So i found a KKK K24 from an Audi 200 Turbo. It's tiny... i know, but i was wondering if it were possible to make it work on my D16Z6? I know i would need a custom manifold. Any one had any experiance with these turbo's?

Small turbo worth 220hp, maybe 240 if pushed to the max. Those things have the weirdest flanges, you're better off going T3 because at least then you'd have some flexibility for upgrades.

way too small man
i have a 14b on my z6 and im looking in to something bigger
it will run out of breath and on the high way it will boost with a slight tap of the gas
if your going to make a custom many might as well make it for something bigger

I need one for free, or maybe an even smaller kkk turbo for a mower. Go with 14b or larger. I went with 14b because I know I can upgrade to numerous DSM turbos if I want to, including the SCM series of 400+ internally gated turbos, which work pretty well. Forcedperformance.net has a ton of drop in big horsepower DSMs. If you want just a responsive quick car that will catch some domestics by surprise go 14b, 16g, or T3 from a chrysler or something. Do not use that piece of ---- VW turbo. Those things are made for ------- forklifts and ----.

well i'm still stock, so i'm not looking to push much boost.... yet! I want something that spools quickly though, so would a T3 be best? or would i still be able to get the same response from a t3 t4 hybrid? and no... the search option is not working for me :P

Yeah search is fucked. If that's the case go with a T3 42/48. It's a smaller T3, but it's a T3 so there are tons of manifolds out there and you can upgrade later on to a larger Garrett T turbo. I would stay away from that VW piece of ---- though and go with a T3 or DSM. T3 should be easier to find in a junkyard, usually the imports around my place get picked over as soon as they come in.

unless you get a dsm cheap stay away from them
t3 is way more practical with hybrid parts and easy flanges
im workign with a dsm flange trying to make open dump and its gay
