Ok jusr got a holset HX30W and was wondering if a d15 would be able to push it. Think maybe itll be good at 8 psi?

 

do you have any specs on the turbo? A/R, access to a compressor map, anything other than a name?

 

It is actually hard to find specs on Holset since they are mainly diesil turbos. But i will look around when i get back home from work today.

 

On the DSM Forums they had a bunch of Compressor Maps. Also look at www.honda-tech.com. In the FI Forum they have a whole post dedicated to Holsets. I beleive the maps are floating there too.

I want pictures of your HX30W, these things are somewhat rare, and I have never seen the -W turbine housing, I'm curious.

FYI, malcolm's HX40'd D15 is on here somewhere, you might laugh to see it. Kid had heart, to bolt up and (successfully) run a turbo everyone told him was too big.

Dude I run a holset hx40 on my sohc and it rips ----,and i guess wat u have is wayyyyy smaller so just try it.
U won't know unless u try for ur self(thats wat i did)an i 'm very comfortable now wouldn't this turbo for the world
although i know its a overkill for my sohc(only runnin 8psi)hoping to run 15psi wen i install my emanage and tune that badboy.
