Yeah I would like to but that's like three to four times as much. That's why I'm on HMT.

What about those other .60/.48 or the .42 with a 60trim compressor wheel?
the pre 87-88 cars had either a .48/60 automatic, or a .63/60 5 speed this is a general rule of thumb some cars could have had the turbo replaced under warranty and have a different size turbine housing. I think a .48 a/r turbine might taper off close to 7000rpm's the .63 a/r turbine housing would be a better cannidate. the 87-88 tc's had a ihi turbo which is smaller, comparible to a 50 trim t3. the 60 trim flows 34lb/min of air which should easily acheive your goal in a .63 turbine housing. and the .42 you speak of is the compressor housing a/r not the turbine housing.

on the 2.5L I would try and find a 60/63 and with $170 you can find one if your patience and look around. Even if you have to wait and save up more money it'll definitely be worth it.

Also if you want to save money you can get a Saab (I think) external wastegate. You can find one used and they're alot cheaper than any aftermarket ones. But please do yourself a favor and stay away from SSautochrome

Hey guys, just found some extra cash. Just wondering, would a t3 60/63 off a tbird be the same as a t3/t04e 60/63? They're they same size right?

They will not flow the same since the T3/T4 has a T4 compressor as opposed to a straight T3. But as for the same A/R's yeah they're the same
