Why they say 14psi Safe for a b18b stock internals

A lot of folks (including experts and friends) told me running 14psi with 550cc injectors is very safe and reliable (as much as running 8psi with 450cc). I am having a really hard time believing in it, I want to get your comments.

Engine is a 1999 b18b.

Well, I see thier "reasoning" behind it.. but.. more fuel being run does not always mean more boost can be run. There is a post about octane that I think you should read. It's got a good explaination of why detination occurs.. I believe it was posted by 89dxhunchback.. And it was about Water Injection or something.

you will need race gas for that....atleast 108 octane...easy to get too....performance shops know places that sell this
