I paid 150 shipped and the pics he showed me had a internal gate on it

Damn, I paid $135 shipped for my t3, and it included a flapper. Of course it had a broken bolt in it, which now has to be electro-something'd out (NEVER trust those hardened bolt extractors!). Or sold on ebay >:D

You can get an external wastegate and still use the internal wastegate hole as a source
thats uber-gay unless you port the crap out of the housing...ive always been a fan of the idea of doing that and using an oversized flapper, or turbos that came with big internal gates
huh? if you make the hole for the internal bigger it will flow more. just slapping an external running through the factory internal passage is pointless imho

It'll still flow the exact same as a non ported internal wastegate.

Dont be a ----- soak it in penetrating oil, put it in a vise and tap it out little by little lol ;D
