because they dont have a honda and dont want to shell out the cash to buy a s afc because they could buy a stand alone computer for 1200

Sigh....If you're gonna bash something, give some points to as why it sucks, and what other, comparable alternatives there are. When you just hop out guns blazing, ppl just look at you like a toolbag.

Oh, and mods tend to like to lock this kinda ----

Re:who uses fmu?

Actually using a FMU and an AFC with slightly larger injectors (20-30cc larger than stock) is actually better than using the AFC hack. You would have a boost dependant fuel supply unlike the RPM dependant hack and the tunability of the AFC without the timing issues. You should maybe think a little before you make a post that is based on the streotypes that FMUs are bad fuel management.

They're damn cheap and easy to use. I had a friend who jsut sold his 12 sec, stock internal B18C1 hatch. All he had was an FMU, and a MSD inline pump. Yeah it was ghetto, and he was gonna get a ECU, and have it tuned, but the car started giving him problems. :'( And not to get off topic, but this kid just graduated from high school last friday, and he's owned 10 cars so far. Right now he cruises a stock '92 cx, in mint condition, and is building a all motor race car, with a $10,000+ motor, and he's apying for everything himself. I just get so damn jealous ;D
